About the role
We are seeking an enthusiastic technician with working experience with pluripotent stem cells to join our Cell Line Development team.
You will be involved in the derivation and characterization of new pluripotent stem cell lines, in particular iPSCs.
As a research technician, you will participate in the design, execution, and optimization of these experiments, as well as characterizing outcomes and efficiency. You will be working with iPSC experts to guarantee that our patented animal cell lines perform at their best and that they can be used in a food-grade process to generate our meat products.
We are looking for a new team member with proven experience in culturing pluripotent stem cells, in particular iPSC. You will be an essential part of our multidisciplinary team of researchers, working both independently but also as part of a larger team.
The ideal candidate has a strong work ethic, a critical mind, and excellent communication skills.

▸ B.Sc. or M.Sc. in Stem Cell Biology, Cellular Biology or related field.
▸ Proven experience in mammalian cell culture and specifically with iPSC.
▸ Minimum of 2 years hands-on experience with development and characterization of iPSC lines using different reprogramming techniques.
▸ Experience in molecular and cellular biology techniques such as FACS, qPCR, Fluorescent Microscopy.
▸ Experience working under GMP will be favoured.
